Established in 1799, Historic Travellers Rest is the oldest, public house museum in Nashville. A true gem nestled just a few miles outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown, Historic Travellvers Rest is the venue to say "I do!" with its rich history and idyllic grounds.
With large magnolia trees, a beautiful formal garden, and grassy meadows, Travellers Rest exudes southerm charm. Ceremonies and special events can take place outside under a canopy of trees against the backdrop of white fences or the historic home itself. Indoor events enjoy our modern day crib barn with a Tennessee limestone fireplace, high ceilings, and beautiful wooden beams.

Wedding & Event Package
Barn, Formal Garden, and Grounds
Our grand package includes use of the barn, formal garden, and historic grounds. Our rental prices include our tables and chairs for use inside the barn, cleaning fees, and on-site supervisor during your event. Maximum capacity in the barn is 150, including all guests and staff, often increased with a tent rental at the entrance doors for a total maximum of 300 guests. Our package is a great option for those interested in indoor and outdoor event space!

Private After Hours Historic Home Tour - $250 - The historic house may be opened for one hour during our event for a guided tour by one of our historical interpreters.
